Contraband into prisons and jails is a long-standing phenomenon. Drugs, legal highs, cigarettes, phones and SIM cards, and even weapons and ammunition are smuggled. Ways to detect illegal packages that are delivered in the "traditional" way are also known. However, a new aerial threat has emerged.

Drones are increasingly being used (successfully) to deliver illegal items. An average commercial drone can easily carry a payload and leave no trace behind.

To counter this phenomenon, Hertz New Technologies offers solutions dedicated to jails and prisons.
Handheld neutralizers, hacking system, but also acoustic sensors developed by Hertz Systems, which, thanks to unique algorithms, are able to detect a drone even in heavily built-up and noisy areas, work well in this area.
