The technological development, widespread availability and ease of use of unmanned aerial vehicles, commonly called drones, has turned them into a real threat.
Drones are now operated as lethal weapons, used not only for military purposes, but also increasingly used by criminals, terrorists, and saboteurs, who can present a real threat to military facilities, critical infrastructure or the security of civilians. Drones can easily be used to carry improvised explosive devices, conduct espionage surveillance, deliver drugs to prisons, disrupt daily operations of airports and seaports or the work of power plants and oil refineries. Therefore, uniformed services and institutions responsible for both public safety and industrial security, are seeking means that will effectively defend against potential UAV attacks.
HAWK is a complex, adaptable and scalable counter-drone solution.
HAWK was designed to detect a UAV before it enters the protected area, track it in real time and bring it to the ground or neutralize it in the air. Multisensory system based on radar technology, RF scanners, acoustic sensors, cameras, and neutralizer provides full protection.
HAWK — UNIQUE FEATURES
Multisensory
The system integrates various detection technologies: rotary radars, sector radars, RF scanners, acoustic sensors and cameras. There are no one-size-fits-all counter-drone solutions! A different system will ensure the effectiveness of counter-drone protection at the airport, and a different one at a mass event. The configuration of the HAWK system sensors depends on the requirements related to the protected area and the user's needs.
Data fusion
Data processing algorithms which permit (allow) the classification and enable the continuous tracking of all detected drones (as a single object) based on information from a variety of sensors (radar, RF scanners and acoustic sensors).
Ease of use
The system is equipped with a tool supporting the user in determining the detection, classification, and neutralization zone. It requires only a short training consisting in analyzing the situation in the event of an alarm.
Scalability
Open architecture allows the system to be expanded with additional sensors and effectors at any time.
Modes of operation
Ability to configure access levels to selected system functions.
HAWK System Configurations
Stationary version
Designed for continuous protection of a selected facility or area, for example a building, factory, airport, stadium, or prison. Multi-sensor system consisting of various technologies, including radars, RF scanners, neutralizers, drone control modules ensuring high efficiency of detection and neutralization of drones that violate the protected space.
Mobile version
The Mobile version is designed to protect both objects, mass events, and other places or gatherings located in public space. This solution is also suitable for patrolling large areas, for example borders. All elements of the system are mounted on the vehicle, enabling work in all conditions.
Portable version
The Portable version was designed for temporary protection of places and objects. It is characterized by easy assembly and disassembly of all system components. The drone monitoring and neutralization center is installed on a portable device that can be stored in a suitcase or backpack.
